In her upcoming docu-story "Paper Heart," Charlyne Yi treks across the country to find the meaning of love.  Along the way she wonders if love indeed exists.

Yi strips all the glamour and fantasy of love to find the  core of that so elusive emotion. From kids on a playground to older couples, Yi may open up a little bit  more.

As Yi, leads the charge with director Nick Jasenov, they twosome along with various celebrity guests  opened the red carpet for the Special Los Angeles screening of "Paper Heart" at The Vista Theater in the  Silverlake area of Los Angeles. Sharing in their love included Bai Ling, Andy Samberg, Jake Johnson,  Rachel Harris, Maiara Walsh and Twilight's Christian Serratos.

Bai was dressed in red short shorts as Christian was looking lovely in black jeans and a leather top. Kind a hot for a warm Los Angeles Night.

Check out a few of our clips from the red carpet of "Paper Heart." The movie opens in select theaters this coming August 7.

  • Early Best Actor Contenders

When Oscar time rolls who will we see featured in those five coveted best actor slots? Here are a few guesses.

    Leonardo DiCaprio
Leo could be nominated for Shutter Island or Inception. While I think that his performance in Shutter Island was a bit more dramatic, and required more from his acting bag of tricks, I can only see him being nominated for Inception. I didn't think Inception was a bad movie; on the contrary, it was the best of the summer in my eyes, but Leo's performance didn't really…

  • The Five Worst Video Game Movies

What is it about video game movies that few, if any, creative teams manage to get them right? Even the best among them aren't all that great, and not a one of them has ever earned any sort of critical acclaim. That doesn't mean that video game inspired films (The Last Starfighter, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) can't be good, but for some reason direct adaptations are always terrible. Ridiculous, over the top and almost never given the weight their storylines possess in even the games themselves,…

  • Eric's Bad Movies: Wing Commander (1999)

There have now been a couple dozen terrible movies based on video games, but that wasn't the case in the late 1990s. Back then, there had only been a few terrible movies based on video games, so the idea of making one that wasn't terrible was not completely implausible.

The chances diminished rapidly, however, when Freddie Prinze Jr. was cast as the lead. Remember Freddie Prinze Jr.? He was the dullest heartthrob who ever throbbed a heart. He was like human Ambien. What ever happened to that…
