Entertainment Industry Touched by Mortgage Meltdown.

As the mortgage loan industry meltdown affects many Americans, people working in the entertainment industry are facing the same situations as the every day Joe out there.

From photographers to writers, some have given up their luxuries such as boats, vacation homes etc.

However, it doesn't have to be that way as reputable law firms and modification companies such as Parman Law Group have become the knight in shining armor for anyone needing loan modification help. From Laguna Beach to Malibu, the slowed economy has made some entertainment industry individuals seek a loan modification.

Since, I'm based out in Southern California, I've found the Parman Law Group as a firm that has assisted its clients in obtaining their loan modifications. Parman Law Group has taken a step further as they have been assisting homeowners who have been jilted by their previous loan modification company by helping them obtain refunds from their previous loan modification firms.

As California State Attorney Jerry Brown plans to announce this coming Wednesday, July 15, 2009 along with the Federal Trade Commission, efforts to crack down on mortgage-related scams called "Operation Loan Lies," Parman Law Group has already been assisting homeowners who have requested their help in going after the homeowner's unscrupulous loan modification firms. Parman has been successful in the last 2 months in obtaining cumulative refunds of approximately $50,000. Parman's clients have often also obtained the highly-prized modification they sought after in the first place which included reduced monthly payments, interest rates and occasionally even principal reduction. This illustrates how Parman Law Group has been able to give a second chance to the homeowner seeking a loan modification.

Parman Law Group has become the shining light in this otherwise dark cloud of the mortgage industry mess.

0 #2 Ronnie Hall 2010-03-18 22:17 Parman Law firm collected our money upfront and after 8 months or so told us that our Bank was willing to modify our loan by $200.00 which was not enough to help us in our present situation. The same day our Bank made the offer Parman Law Group told us to take it or leave it and they where not going to negotiate for us any longer. The told us to take this first offer. Now our house is Bank owned and we have been given a 3 day vacate notice. Would be nice if Parman gave back some of our money I do feel the fairly earned. Quote

0 #1 Ronnie Hall 2010-03-18 22:11 Parman Law Group talks about helping people obtain money back from unscrupulous loan modification firms. My wife hired Parman for a loan modification after I was laid off from my previous employer. They told us to do this and that and then we wouldn't hear from them to the point where my wife would have to call and ask what was up with our case. She was told numerous times that our case was given to a new case manager and they would be getting back with us. If and when they did it was only to tell us not to worry that every thing was going well and we would be very pleased with the out come. Quote

  • Early Best Actor Contenders

When Oscar time rolls who will we see featured in those five coveted best actor slots? Here are a few guesses.

    Leonardo DiCaprio
Leo could be nominated for Shutter Island or Inception. While I think that his performance in Shutter Island was a bit more dramatic, and required more from his acting bag of tricks, I can only see him being nominated for Inception. I didn't think Inception was a bad movie; on the contrary, it was the best of the summer in my eyes, but Leo's performance didn't really…

  • The Five Worst Video Game Movies

What is it about video game movies that few, if any, creative teams manage to get them right? Even the best among them aren't all that great, and not a one of them has ever earned any sort of critical acclaim. That doesn't mean that video game inspired films (The Last Starfighter, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) can't be good, but for some reason direct adaptations are always terrible. Ridiculous, over the top and almost never given the weight their storylines possess in even the games themselves,…

  • Eric's Bad Movies: Wing Commander (1999)

There have now been a couple dozen terrible movies based on video games, but that wasn't the case in the late 1990s. Back then, there had only been a few terrible movies based on video games, so the idea of making one that wasn't terrible was not completely implausible.

The chances diminished rapidly, however, when Freddie Prinze Jr. was cast as the lead. Remember Freddie Prinze Jr.? He was the dullest heartthrob who ever throbbed a heart. He was like human Ambien. What ever happened to that…
